  • Ryan Benz

    MANAGING PARTNER

    Ryan Benz is a Syracuse based real estate developer, restaurateur and investor focusing on the future of Central New York. Owner of popular restaurants Oh My Darling, The Fitz, along with Syracuse’s first bookstore in more than 30 years, Parthenon Books, Benz splits his time between his retail offerings as well as Redev CNY.

    Since founding Redev CNY 5 years ago, Benz has completed more than $80m in projects including the redevelopment of the Penfield Manufacturing Building, The Whitney Lofts, The St. Matthew's Condos, the Lofts at 1117 and several other projects across the region.

    Benz is an alumnus of Syracuse University's Whitman School of Management where he is now an adjunct faculty member teaching Entrepreneurship.

    Aside from his professional endeavors, Benz remains deeply committed to the future of Central New York and sits on the Board of Directors for the United Way of Central New York (Vice-Chair), The Salvation Army of Syracuse, the Center for Community Alternatives (CCA), The Southside Community Growth Foundation, and the Redhouse Arts Center.

  • Jenn Mullane

    MANAGING PARTNER, REDEV CONSTRUCTION

    Jenn Mullane is the Managing Partner of Redev Construction, Corp., the general contracting division of Redev CNY.

    Mullane is responsible for overseeing all construction activities and ensures projects are completed on time, within budget and to the quality expected. Prior to taking this role, Jenn spent 8 years in Project Management with other firms, wearing the hats of Construction Project Manager, Construction Manager, and Owner’s Representative. She enjoys working on challenging projects and believes that effective communication between the Owner, Architect, and Contractor is critical to a successful project.

    Jenn is passionate about the revival of Syracuse and its surrounding areas also being a graduate of Leadship Greater Syracuse. She has always been enthusiastic about community development and building up people and places, while bridging our built environment with our social environment.

    Jenn earned a B.A. in Urban Studies and Geography from the University at Albany. She lives in Syracuse with her husband and dog. In her free time, you’ll likely find her sipping craft beer with family and friends, cooking or doing something outdoors.
